By taxi boat from Marina di Vietri

The taxi boat leaves from the Vietri Vacanze pier, in Marina di Vietri sul Mare, and reaches the beach in about 5 minutes. It costs €10 per person return (€5 each way), half price for children, and is reserved for guests with a restaurant booking. It runs from June to August: message us on WhatsApp for times.

If you take the taxi boat, leave the car in the sports ground car park, 10 metres from the Vietri Vacanze pier, or in the town's blue-line spaces.

By SITA bus

The SITA Sud bus on the Salerno–Amalfi line also goes through Vietri sul Mare; from Salerno the ride takes about 15 minutes.

Get off at the stop near the Voce del Mare hotel and walk about 150 metres towards Amalfi. Look for the Ristorante Marina d'Albori sign, on the sea side of the road: from there about 200 steps lead down to the beach.

From Salerno station

By car and parking

From the north (Naples)

Take the A3 Napoli–Salerno motorway and exit at Vietri sul Mare
Follow the signs for the Amalfi Coast and take the SS163 towards Amalfi
After about 1.5 km, past the centre of Vietri, look for the Ristorante Marina d'Albori sign, on the sea side of the road: the stairs start there

From the south

Take the A2 motorway (formerly A3 Salerno–Reggio Calabria) and exit at Salerno
Follow the signs for Vietri sul Mare and the Amalfi Coast, then take the SS163 towards Amalfi
After about 1.5 km, past the centre of Vietri, look for the Ristorante Marina d'Albori sign, on the sea side of the road: the stairs start there

From the Amalfi Coast (Amalfi, Cetara)

Drive along the SS163 towards Salerno and Vietri sul Mare
Past Cetara and before Vietri sul Mare, the stairs start on the right, on the sea side, at the Ristorante Marina d'Albori sign

Parking

Near the top of the stairs there is a paid car park, open from 8:00 to 18:00. On Saturdays and Sundays the car park fills up early: arrive in the morning if you want a space.

On foot

From the SS163 coast road, a staircase of about 200 steps leads down to the beach. From Raito, another staircase runs down from the village to the coast road and ends near the top of ours. With a pushchair, or if stairs are hard for you, take the taxi boat instead: it lands right on the beach.

By your own boat

Small boats can tie up at our jetty, to the left of Lido A' Cartera, with the restaurant's permission; otherwise you can use our mooring buoys in front of the cove. Guests with a table booking get free landing and boarding from our pontoon.
